As the flash floods swept through almost the whole village, the aftermath left behind hundreds of residents losing their home, food, clean water, clothing, schools, and other essential belongings.
Our local team of volunteers in West Sumatra is working tirelessly with the local authority to carry on the evacuation plan by taking them into safety and ensuring them to get immediate health check by providing them drinks, food, clothing, a place to sleep, and first aid care. The disaster has caused them distress and health risks.
Our current focus is now to bring them hope of rebuilding their lives and homes.
