2022 - Semeru Earthquake

Semeru volcano erupted in December 2022 and it was one of the deadly disasters that hit east Java. Hundreds lost their homes and were displaced, tens of people died and injured. Indonesia Relief USA partnered with Bina Swadaya and Hope4Children, two experienced relief nonprofit organizations in Indonesia to help send relief and recovery essentials to those survivors. The efforts were successful, tens of clean water tanks were set up, ambulance and medical and food supplies were received on time for the emergency medical clinics, and food and other essentials were received by families and people in need.
